Battle of the Spartans
The Battle of the Spartans course strengthens students' skills in multiple disciplines:
- language arts
- social science
- math
- science
Current 6th and 7th graders will be selecting electives for next year very soon! Some electives require applications. Please fill out the application form.
Students compete against other students, schools, and communities in a variety of academic competitions. They experience and practice teamwork & camaraderie, and build a strong sense of community while improving discussion techniques, problem-solving strategies, and creativity. While all students will participate in practices, individual students will find an area of passion and strength on which to focus, thus building confidence and gaining valuable experience in an area of interest.

*Students find and research the contests themselves. Practices and preparation take place during class.
