Psychologist

This is my fifth year as a school psychologist at AE Wright Middle School. I was also at Calabasas High School for two of those years. I love working in secondary education and am proud to be part of this amazing community of students, families, and staff! Although school psychologists wear many hats, at the end of the day my job is supporting student success. What I like best about being a school psychologist is the privilege of getting to know the unique strengths and needs of each of my students, problem solving, and being a source of positive change.  Before joining the LVUSD, I worked with students in grades K-8 as a school psychologist at Hueneme Elementary School District for a year and a half. I did my graduate training at Loyola Marymount University where I earned a Master’s in Educational Psychology in May 2019 and my Education Specialist and Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in May 2020. Previously in my first career, I received an MBA from Claremont Graduate University, held leadership positions in corporate marketing and management consulting, and taught college classes at San Francisco State University. In my free time I enjoy learning about all kinds of things, fitness, and spending time with my husband; especially hiking, traveling, and going out to eat.
