Dear AE Wright Middle School Community,

I am very lucky and honored to be the new principal of such an amazing school. I am looking forward to an exciting year for our Spartan community. On behalf of our wonderful AE Wright staff, I want to welcome your family to the 2023-2024 school year!  Our mission is the development of the whole child; educating our students socially and emotionally, while pursuing academic excellence. We strive to support our students in their quest for knowledge, respect for all, and their understanding of diverse cultures.

I am starting my 12th year as an administrator in LVUSD. Prior to that, I spent 10 years as a high school teacher, coach, and athletic director in LAUSD. I started my administrative career 12 years ago at Agoura High School where I spent 5 years as an assistant principal. I spent the last 6 years as the principal of Lupin Hill Elementary. I truly believe that LVUSD is the best district and has the best schools in California. 

This is going to be an exciting year! AE Wright is privileged to have a caring community of parents and staff who work together as one family to help our students reach their full potential and realize success. This year more than ever, the foundation for success starts with close ties and open communication between school and home. Whatever we do as educators to guide, shape, and motivate our students is only multiplied by the loving commitment, interest, and instruction you help to provide at home.  We look forward to working in collaboration with parents and community members to prepare our AE Wright students for the challenges of being a well rounded member of society.
