Our business is access to information and ideas.
We welcome anyone who needs to do research, find a book to read, or just a quiet place to sit.
However, (there is always a however, isn't there?) we do have a few rules or policies and procedures.
Students are expected to be courteous and respectful at all times.
Backpacks should be placed under the table.
Please pick up after yourself and push in your chair before you leave.
NO food or drink, including water, is permitted.

To take an WARP quiz, the student must bring a signed permission slip and his/her current photo ID to the library before school, during lunch, after school, or from a class with the teacher's permission. All fines and overdues must be cleared before the student will be allowed to take the quiz.
An online listing of the quizzes we own is available at ARBookFind
You can search by author, subject, or title or create book lists using reading level or point value ranges. You can restrict your searches to interest level or fiction/non-fiction
Log on from home to see your AR record - go to the library tab labeled WARP Online. Click here for instructions.
What you need to know if you want to check out books from the library:
The current A.E. Wright ID Card is required to check out materials, take WARP Quizzes, and use the Library at lunchtime.
Students may check out three books at a time for a period of three weeks.
Books may be renewed for an additional three weeks as often as needed.
Students may request that a hold be placed to reserve a title for check-out. Visit the circulation desk and place your request. You will be notified through your Language Arts class and the material will be reserved for two days at the circulation desk for you.
Overdue book fines are 10¢ per school day per material. The maximum fine is the price of the book checked out. There is a $1 fee for green cards missing from the pocket.
Students with overdue materials may not checkout new books, use computers, take WARP Quizzes, or use other materials until overdue items are returned and fines cleared.
Circulating books (3 items)- 3 weeks
Reference books (one at a time)- overnight, if they circulate, or by
individual arrangement with the library staff
Magazines (current issues) - for use in library only with your I.D. Card
Textbooks, Rulers, stencils, protractors, calculators - per period with your I.D. Card
