SCHOOL SCHEDULE FOR SEPTEMBER 6-10 In observance of Labor Day, school will be closed on September 6. School will resume on Tuesday, September 7. School will also be closed on September 9 and 10 for a Fall Recess.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT This year's Back to School Night is on Tuesday, September 7. We will begin with a general meeting at 6:30p.m. Classroom visits will begin at 7:00p.m. Please check your student's backpack for a Back to School flyer with your child's class schedule on Tuesday, September 7. This evening is for parents only. Parents may park in the District Office lot, the parking lot south of campus, and on the black top on the A.E. Wright campus.
DRESS CODE Please make sure you review the A.E. Wright Dress Code on a regular basis. Remember, just because an item of clothing is a popular trend or something that you would wear at the beach or home does not make it school appropriate. Students who violate the dress code will lose behavior points and will be required to immediately change into appropriate clothing (red loaner shirt/shorts or may have parents contacted to bring appropriate clothing to school). A.E. WRIGHT STUDENT DIRECTORY The PFC sponsors a student directory each year. If you want your information in the student directory, you must go to www.aewdirectory.com and enter your information by September 10.
BELL SCHEDULE FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
A.E. Wright has adopted a banking time schedule for the 2010-2011 school year. School will begin at 8:50a.m. and will end at 3:05p.m. On 16 Thursdays throughout the school year (see dates below), students will be dismissed at 1:10p.m. Click HERE for additional information regarding the bell schedule for the 2010-2011 school year.
